Dirk Proeckl and Engelbert Winkler developed “Neuropsycholysis” as a new approach in the application of a neurological, induced altered state of consciousness for self-exploration and therapy. Neuropsycholysis is a natural process which can be experienced and observed on the physiological and psychological levels and promotes sustainable self-exploration through altered states of consciousness. After more than nine years of neuropsycholytical work in a variety of contexts into the implementation of neurostimulation, they will present for the first time a comprehensive discussion of the topic.
The therapeutically relevant extension of consciousness in Neuropsycholysis will not be achieved through a drug, but through optical neurostimulation with a light-source called Lucia N°03.
Dirk Proeckl is a neurologist and psychologist, with a medical practice in Wörgl, Tyrol. Studies: Medicine - universities of Saarbrücken, Regensburg, München. Psychology - universities of Regensburg, Freiburg, München. During the following years Dirk worked at several clinics in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He performed his scientific work in: multimodal psychosomatic rehabilitation of migraine; distribution of neurotransmitter within the central nervous system; readiness potential in the electroencephalogram; dipole source analysis of colour evoked potentials and of epileptic potentials in the electroencephalogram; developing and optimising Lucia N°03.
